Tuesday marked 100 days of Donald Trump's second term as U.S. President, and Wall Street has not received them kindly. The benchmark S&P 500 index (SP500) slumped to its worst performance for the first 100 days in any presidency since Richard Nixon's second term in 1973.

Trump makes a momentous political comeback, breaking through the "blue wall" to win 312 electoral votes. Trump becomes only the second US president in history to be elected to non-consecutive terms, following Grover Cleveland (the 22nd and 24th US president).
