Star actor Denzel Washington, a two-time Oscar winner, said he's "not that interested" in winning Academy Awards during a media interview for his upcoming movie, "Highest 2 Lowest," released in theatres Aug.

For his latest collaboration with Spike Lee, himself an Oscar winner, Washington is again garnering acclaim. Film critic Robert Daniels, for example, highlighted the actor's " unmatched sense of timing " in his Cannes review of the film earlier this year.

Denzel Washington, who has two Academy Awards to his name, recently said in an interview that he is "not that interested in" receiving the prestigious awards.
