Texas House Democrats have questions after authorities arrested a person Saturday suspected of making a “credible threat” against lawmakers involved in the “No Kings” rally in Austin.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says it has arrested a man in connection with the threats that were made against state lawmakers who planned to attend protests at the Texas Capitol.

A man has been arrested in connection with the threats. Texas DPS says it evacuated the Capitol and Capitol Grounds around 1 p.m.

U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett, another elected representative speaking while under apparent threat of assassination, gave a roundup of recent disturbing news headlines.
