Connecticut Sun president Jennifer Rizzotti addressed the report of the franchise's sale and potential relocation to Boston on Sunday afternoon.

The Sun would play its home games at TD Garden, where they played two games over the last two years and sold out the arena on both occasions. According to Washburn, the Celtics have "no issue" with the Sun becoming co-tenants at TD Garden,

The league still must approve the sale, which will be for a record $325 million, and declared Saturday nine other cities which sought WNBA expansion franchises "have priority over Boston."
