In 2017, 76 years after she debuted in the pages of All Star Comics #8, Wonder Woman finally scored her own live-action feature film, which followed one year after Gal Gadot debuted as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

James Gunn recently revealed that Doctor Fate was one of the superheroes shown in the mural in his recent movie, Superman. Apart from that, he also shared whether the Flash shown in the Hall of Justice mural was Jay Garrick.

“That was really unfortunate,” Gunn continued. “So Peter and I [thought] the right thing to do was to sit down with [Cavill] and talk to him. And we sat down and we talked to him. He was an absolute gentleman, a great guy about it. He said, ‘The only thing I ask is that I’m able to reveal it myself as opposed to it coming from you guys.'”
