Thousands gathered in Daley Plaza and in suburban events in protests timed to coincide with a military parade in Washington celebrating the Army's 250th anniversary and President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

On Saturday, demonstrations against President Donald Trump's administration were held in numerous U.S. cities, including several locations across Seattle and Washington state.
"We are here today in Tacoma saying we will not yield to that darkness in the smallest dimension," said former governor Jay Inslee.
Trump turned 79 on June 14, 2025, which is the same day as thousands of No Kings Day protests in the US, with some down the road from Mar-a-Lago Club
