New atmospheric river expected to arrive late Sunday in the flood-wary Pacific Northwest
Record river flooding is ongoing in parts of Washington State, but following a drier weekend, a new worry for wetter weather will arise early this week.
"The flooding levels we're looking at are potentially historic in nature," Gov. Bob Ferguson said Thursday afternoon, urging people to listen to official advice and follow evacuation orders.
Another round of rain and wind is in store for the Pacific Northwest as early as late Sunday, forecasters said.
