ADOT is continuing work on several improvement projects that will cause delays for travelers across the Valley.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is planning a pavement rehabilitation project along roughly 10 miles of State Route 51 — stretching from the Interstate 10 to Shea Boulevard.

ADOT will close and restrict several Phoenix-area freeways this weekend. Check routes, allow extra time, and plan alternate drives before you head out.

Motorists should be aware of a closure in north Scottsdale, as well as various on- and off-ramp closures across the Phoenix area from May 2 to May 5.

Some of the roadblocks are due to widening projects as the Arizona Department of Transportation advises caution while driving in work zones.
