Seven California gubernatorial candidates faced off in a debate airing live on CNN.

The leading candidates for California governor clashed in a lively debate Tuesday on everything from a proposed tax on billionaires to state-funded healthcare for immigrants in the country illegally.

The three candidates are expected to discuss wildfires, immigration, homelessness, public safety and quality of life, according to NBC4, which is hosting the debate alongside Telemundo 52.
