AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - West Texas A&M University and the City of Canyon is hosting a join community Veterans Day celebration. The joint commemoration for veterans, active-duty military and Gold Star families will begin at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial on the WT campus.

Mercer said the clerks group has played a big part in her own professional growth, and she looks forward to giving back as TMCA president in 2026.

According to officials with the City of Canyon, boards and committees with open applications are: Officials noted that applications will be open through Nov. 30 and details for the board or committee positions can be found online on the city’s website.
