Coca-Cola announced plans on Tuesday to distribute in the United States a version of its signature soft drink with cane sugar, a move that comes after Diet Coke-loving President Donald Trump took credit last week for pressuring the company to switch.

After nudge from President Trump, Coca-Cola says it plans to sell a line of soda for U.S. market that uses natural cane sugar.

Coca-Cola's move comes a week after President Trump said he had been talking to the soft drink giant about using cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup in its signature drink.
