A winter storm sweeping through Northeast Ohio has forced more than 123 schools, universities, and organizations to close or delay operations on Monday, affecting communities across the Cleveland, Akron,

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Several businesses in central Ohio are closed on Monday morning due to snow, slick roads and the cold. Roads are closed to non-emergency personnel in counties under a Level 3 Snow Emergency. As of Sunday evening, the City of Columbus has not canceled trash pickup for Monday.

A winter storm over the weekend has led to some schools and facilities announcing closures and schedule delays.

Rumpke Waste & Recycling will suspend trash and recycling collection Monday in Columbus and surrounding areas due to the winter weather and road conditions. Customers are encouraged to visit Rumpke.com for service updates in their area.

It will remain blustery cold with temperatures reaching a tad higher, into the 20s, but with harsh wind chills.
