A ground delay is underway at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on Friday morning.

Dozens of flights delayed at SEA as snow prompts another ground stop

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop for arriving flights to SEA due to snow and ice. The ground stop will be in place until 1:30 p.m. The airport has been under ground stops for arrivals on and off all morning.

Incoming traffic to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport was being delayed due to current weather conditions on the ground in western Washington. The FAA said the delay - averaging 62 minutes per flight - was in place for all arriving traffic due to snow and ice.
