Bioware makes some tough and controversial choices as it tries to move its fantasy series forward in “Dragon Age: The Veilguard.”

Every Dragon Age game features a fair amount of character customization, but The Veilguard is the only title in the series that allows players to pick a faction. There are six factions to choose from in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, some of which are entirely new while others have been present in some form or another in previous games.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers a total of 12 key ultimate abilities: one general ultimate for each core class and one ultimate for each of the nine specializations. While they all aid in the fulfillment of their individual class fantasies, some are just cooler than others, so let’s take a look at them.
