The Las Vegas Raiders made sure to lock up a key defender who was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

The Raiders signed restricted free agent safety Isaiah Pola-Mao to a new contract, the team announced Monday. The deal is for two years and $8.45 million. Pola-Mao, 25, has played in 44 games since joining the organization in 2022 as an undrafted free agent out of USC.

Mao, who came on strong after getting a starting role last season, re-signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. An undrafted free agent in 2022, he comes off his best season with careers highs in tackles (85) and passed defended (six).
