The Los Angeles Rams are coming off another solid season. They won the NFC West with a 10-7 record, came one play away from hosting an NFC Championship game and found the eventual NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in Jared Verse.

Les Snead and Matthew Stafford were once thrilled to be together. After Jared Goff ran out his welcome, the Rams were hungry to make a big move. They settled on Matthew Stafford.

Stafford is not a free agent as he is entering the third season of his four-year, $160 million contract extension that he signed with the Los Angeles Rams. However, that does not mean he cannot become a free agent this offseason as the team has a potential out with $49.3 million dead cap associated with it, as per Spotrac.
