A girl missing out of Covington, Tennessee, has been found in Nashville after a sex trafficking investigation resulted in a multi-agency recovery operation Tuesday.
A driver killed in the dark along Interstate 40 was mistakenly targeted by a man who believed he was being followed, according to investigators in Middle Tennessee. Turns out 43-year-old Randy Brooks II shot an innocent driver, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said in a Jan. 30 news release.
The shooter was “significantly influenced by web-based material, especially that found on non-traditional sites that most would find harmful and objectionable,” police said.
