Joc Pederson gets a $5.5 million signing bonus as part of his $37 million, two-year contract with the Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager has had a “pretty normal offseason” for the first time in some time after an injury-induced finish to his regular season. The better news: He said Friday before the club’s awards dinner at the Loews Arlington hotel that he’ll be ready to go on day one of spring training.

Joc Pederson gets a $5.5 million signing bonus as part of his $37 million, two-year contract with the Texas Rangers. The designated hitter and outfielder will receive salaries of $13 million this year and $18.
