With spring training games underway now, the Astros took on the New York Mets, Washington Nationals, and the St. Louis Cardinals over the course of the weekend showcasing a bit of their new talent and prospects acquired from the offseason.

Back in December, news broke that the Cardinals and Astros agreed to a trade that would have sent All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado to Houston. Arenado used his no-trade rights to veto the deal and both sides moved on.

The Cardinals are days away from a potentially awkward situation at the ballclub’s spring training facility in Jupiter, Florida.
