Ole Miss is enjoying arguably it's most successful season since the 2018-2019 campaign. Chris Beard is in the midst of elevating Rebels' basketball back to the standard it once held. And while there is plenty of basketball left to be played, the results are already visible.

When Chris Beard met with Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter before being named the Rebels head men’s basketball coach, their conversation revolved around rebuildinging the program into a consistent winner.

Chris Beard knew the assignment when he was hired as Ole Miss head coach two years ago. He’s won nearly as many NCAA Tournament games in his career (8) as the Rebels have all-time appearances (9) in their 100-plus-year history.
