Mt. Gox’s latest Bitcoin transfer coincides with a sharp market downturn, pushing Bitcoin to a four-month low of $76,800 before recovering to $81,500 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap. Meanwhile, the Crypto Fear and Greed Index plunged into “extreme fear” levels.

Mt. Gox, the now-defunct crypto exchange, transferred 11,501 Bitcoin, worth approximately $905 million, to an unmasked address in the past hour, following a 166 BTC transfer to BitGo last Friday, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.

Mt Gox made another $930 million transfer on March 11 — indicating that more creditors may soon be repaid — while Bitcoin slumped to a four-month low of $76,784.
