The two victims of a deadly Sheridan, Illinois shooting and house fire have been identified. Ronald Martin, Jr. is charged with their murders.

A day long manhunt ended Thursday, after a double murder and house fire in the village of Sheridan in LaSalle County.

A LaSalle County man is charged with six counts of murder after a shooting and house fire at a home in Sheridan, Illinois, followed by an hours long manhunt.

Murder charges have been filed against a suburban Chicago man accused of killing two people whose bodies were found inside a burning home this week in what marked the start of a deadly mystery in a rural Illinois town.

His wife wrote that "Noel touched the lives of many with his warmth and enthusiasm, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever."

Two people were found dead in a house in Sheridan, Illinois after police responded to reports of shots fired and the house on fire, and a suspect is currently being sought by law enforcement.

A death is under investigation in Sheridan, Illinois. WLS-TV in Chicago reports no one is in custody as LaSalle County officials continue investigating.
