Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani on Wednesday night faced his former team, the Los Angeles Angels, for the first time as a pitcher in what turned out to be a potentially crucial losing effort for the visitors.

Zach Neto snared a Shohei Ohtani liner, tagged second and tossed to first to record a rare triple play in a Los Angeles Angels win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ohtani, who hit into a triple play in the sixth inning, had given the Dodgers a 6-5 lead in the ninth with a towering home run down the right-field line off Kenley Jansen. It was Ohtani's 43rd homer of the season, breaking a tie with Philadelphia's Kyle Schwarber for the National League lead, and extended his home run streak to four games.
