Colorado’s gray wolves roamed farther into the Western Slope last month, with at least one of the canines setting foot in a watershed that extends to the Utah border.

In February, the majority of Colorado’s gray wolves continued to explore the northwest corner of the state while a lone wolf continued in the southwest. This is according to the latest map from Colorado

The monthly map of wolf activity released on Wednesday shows wolves roamed as far as the Colorado-Utah state line in Mesa County.
