Let the battle begin. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is believed to have recovered from his right shoulder injury setback, according to an ESPN report Thursday, and with training camp beginning next week, his competition with Daniel Jones for Indianapolis’ starting spot is set to commence.

Colts’ Anthony Richardson cleared for camp but needs to outshine Daniel Jones to save his starting job, and possibly his NFL future.

Holder adds that with the players being away, the Colts ’ medical staff will still have to examine Richardson’s shoulder prior to training camp beginning. Holder also mentions the possibility of a “pitch count” early on for Richardson as he ramps up, but he has been throwing "with velocity" during the off time.
