In the aftermath of the chaotic incident at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) All-Star Championship in Dallas this past weekend, the competition resumed on Sunday without further disruptions.

The NCA national cheerleading championships were back on at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Sunday – 24 hours after the event was evacuated in a scene of chaos and confusion.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported 10 individuals to the hospital with injuries that were non-life-threatening; they ranged from bumps, bruises, to extremity fractures, per CBS News. The cheerleaders were quickly separated from their parents due to the panic,

The DPD did say that many people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the mass exodus from the convention center. Though there was no active shooter, the loud bang from the poles falling down was convincing enough for cheerleaders and their families to run for their lives – causing a dangerous stampede.
