There are many benefits to keeping this flower patch trimmed. First, it is filled with Zinnias and Cosmos. Those are ‘Cut & Come Again’ flowers. The more you cut them, the more they bloom! It is currently July and I want to keep this patch in bloom for a few more months. If I did not deadhead the flower after blooming, the plant will start to make seed.
