In this Reflection’s Bible study, we learn how the prophets encountered God and spoke on his behalf to the people. Their message was filled with judgement for Israel’s idolatry toward God and injustice toward others. But the prophets also voiced the hope and forgiveness God offers repentant people. The story of the prophets reminds us of our need to turn from sin and allow God’s forgiveness to restore our relationships with him and others.
