Felixstowe's Lost Heritage Beach Station in Felixstowe was opened on the 1st of May 1877 and was the first train station in the town. Due to lack of demand the station closed it's doors in 1967. Beach Station had many uses after it closed including a printer's office! However time passed and the station was in disrepair- The Strategic Rail Authority wanted to demolish it to sell the land for re-development.
