Story time!! After going 3 rounds on the figure 8 with a 50” plus giant musky, I repositioned to try and move her again. Made one long cast with an 11” swimbait down the gut of the river and counted it down. I don’t have any electronics but this hole was about 15-17’ deep. When I felt the rod jerk out of my hands, I panicked because my immediate reaction was that this was the fish I’d been hunting for ten years down here. (Clearly I’m hyperventilating and talking to myself during the fight 🤣) I
