One of the coolest (and most iconic) things to do at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry—the Coal Mine Tour! 🪨⛏️ It’s the museum’s oldest exhibit and an actual coal mine relocated from southern Illinois for the 1933 World’s Fair. They take you down a real mine elevator, show authentic 1930s machinery, and even let you experience total darkness.
