We recently wrote to the government asking for Greensand Ridge and the Len Valley to be incorporated into the Kent Downs National Landscape. We have now heard back, we have been told: ✅ Extensions are still possible (though limited) but National Parks are off the table. ✅ Current focus is on Surrey Hills, with no new bids invited due to budget pressures. ✅ The main barrier is lack of resources, not policy.
